Only a block away from the hotel is the "Feria de los Artesanos", located in the Artigas seat, it is the forced stroll of the tourists. This fair counts on 200 stands where it is possible to be acquired from simple souvenirs, wool clothes and leather works until valuable gold jewels, semiprecious stones, silver , etc.

The harbour of Punta del Este(at 5 minutes of the hotel) has played its part in many tournaments and nautical competitions, among them are the Whitbread tournament in repeated opportunities, the BOC (now called Around Alone), and the Off-shore One of Punta del Este. Nowadays the harbor is the home of many tourists and it's constantly extending its mooring cables capacity because of the high demand. You can also watch several sea lions and colorful jellyfish swimming under the piers. Near the harbor there are many important restaurants and pubs that give life to the zone, specially at night. There are also some shops along the shore where you can find aquatic gear, fish, fish bait, seafood and you can also book boat trips to Gorriti island.

A few meters away you can enjoy the Stroll of Mailhos,made of monolithic wood paths that begin in Cigalle beach and finish in a public square, a couple of blocks away from the old harbor of Mailhos, a place where the tourists meet to enjoy the amazing bay sunsets.
